Don had been looking for Beekeepers. He knew the ecosystem wanted honey bees.
Well, honey bees arrived--all on their own. Thousands of honey bees. We had been hearing about the plight of the honey bee on the planet (they had been suffering for some time), whole colonies dying, becoming ill, disappearing. We were so grateful that these honey bees had found safe haven at Hawkwind, and we let them know this was a place to rest, roam free, and to teach us about what they had to say to humans about quality of life and living as a community and co-creative leadership. We let them know that Hawkwind could be a honey bee spa to rest and repair.
This was the year the words kept coming "No story, all needs met". After a huge storm we went up to the fields to weed, and every single plant was laying down. These words re-appeared "No story, all needs met." Each plant was fine, ready to be re-set, and their root system ran deep that year. A calm pervaded underneath everything. No panic, no fear, not perceiving anything as a problem...but whatever was occuring was something the field needed and would thrive from...
And we continued...
